Welcome to Lination, provider of expert Linux support. Using our experience with a large number of different Linux distributions and packages, we are able to provide support for a number of different Linux related support request for both desktop and server setups.

If you have an emergeny support request (one that requires quick attention) you may request emergency support and if possible we will assist you in your requests, even if we are normally not available at that time.

How it works

We can provide you support in a number of different ways depending on the particular issue you are having. The preferred method is with remote support using SSH and/or VNC which allows us to control your system from a remote location. If that method is not an option based on your request then phone, email and online chat support is available as well.

To request support you can visit the request support page and follow the instructions there. If you have any questions before requesting support then please contact us with your enquiry.

Pricing

The current pricing for this service starts at $120US* per hour and reduces all the way to $80US* per hour for bulk purchases. There is a minimum support time of 20 minutes for each support request.

*Special note to people in Australia: Because I am also located in Australia, due to tax law, an extra 10% will be charged to the service cost to cover the GST.

Questions

Is Lination's support service just for Linux issues or are you able to assist with implementation as well?
We can assist with implementation, if you would like us to expand the functionality of your server we are able to offer this service to you.

I am new to Linux and just require help on how to use it, can you assist me?
Sure, using VNC we am able to show you the best features of Linux and how to go about using them.

I just need some advise about Linux, can you assist me?
Yes, you can just talk to us to get our option on the best way to handle Linux for your situation.

I need help in installing Linux, can you help?
Yes, we can guide you through the process for a number of different Linux distributions. On some Linux distributions we are able to install Linux on your system remotely.

What happens if your pricing increases or decreases while I still have unused minutes?
If the pricing increases then the number of support minutes you have remaining is not adjusted. If pricing decreases then you will be credited with any extra minutes you would have got if you had paid at the decreased rate.
